Composition :

Each ml. contains:
Methylergometrine Maleate   I.P.      0.2 mg.
Water for Injection  I.P.        q.s

Indications :

• Subinvolution
• Retention of fetal membrane
• Post-partum bleeding
• Evacuating abortion
• Uterine infection/ pyometra
• Prolapse of uterus

Dosage:

• Cow, Buffalo & Mare: 2-5 mg./animal.
• Ewe, Goat & sow: 0.5-1 mg./ animal.
• Bitch & Queen : 0.2-0.4 mg./ 10 kg. b.wt. or as directed by veterinarian.
  Decreased uterine contractions may be associated with hypocalcemia, administration of calcium in addition to Ergovet is recommended in such cases.

( Do not mix calcium injection with Ergovet )
